Engage 25
Challenge
Ice-breaker
It can be intimidating to just approach someone with the good news of Jesus, though your heart may burn to do so! Having something in hand can really help. The bracelets are designed to be acceptable by just about anyone, and used to break the ice to engage someone with the gospel!
Connection Sentence
Having a ready connection line helps. Try: “Hey, I like to give these out when I can,” or “Sorry to bother you, but I share this in drive-thrus.” Whether fueling up, getting food, or out and about, a simple opener makes the next step easier.
Print your Testimony
Include a printed copy of your testimony with the bracelets. If you’ve known God long enough, you have a brief story of He’s impacted you life. Write it down to encourage others with it! You can also strengthen your Connection Sentence. For example: “Hi—this is a short story of how God has impacted my life, and I also like to give these bracelets with it.”
Door Hangers
Attach a story or testimony and use the bracelet as a door hanger to leave on neighbors’ doors. Receiving a gift and a story of God’s impact is powerful. Include your email. This plants a seed of faith. See stories below showing how this worked!
Give your Feedback!
We’d love to hear how this challenge went for you. It’s designed to build boldness and confidence and to help you share the gospel more effectively. As you finish, please tell us about your experience—what you tried, what worked, what didn’t, and how people responded. This is a free program, and at the end we’ll invite you to pay it forward!
I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE
Once accepted, someone will be in touch via email soon to encourage you and send you your bracelets.
Stories
One participant used the bracelets as a door hanger and shared an encouraging story with their neighbors. A neighbor responded:
